User Experience and Insight Specialist

Milestone Systems is growing quickly and globally. As the company grows, so does the need for improved digital platforms. In the eCommerce department, their responsibility is to provide their partners and customers with a world-class online sales and service platform. They want to provide intuitive and inspiring online user experiences in a highly competitive market. 

You have and contribute with excellent research skills, and is able to set high standards for digital user experiences on all digital platforms.


The Role 

Your main focus will be setting new standards for digital concept developing. You will conduct user research and do user testing, develop wireframes based on user needs and collaborating with Designer and Developers to create intuitive and user-friendly digital solutions. 


Primary responsibilities: 

  • To collect and understand business- and user needs  
  • To concept develop new digital solutions 
  • To produce sketches, wireframes and prototypes for new online solutions  
  • To optimize information architecture and usability on current online solutions   
  • To hand over detailed UX and functionality specifications to Art Directors and Developers   
  • To work closely with Project managers, Art Directors, Developers, Content Managers and other stakeholders  


Who are you? 

You are a natural problem solver, with a passion for designing holistic experiences. You have significant experience working as a User Experience Designer and are a tenacious advocate for design thinking. You should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. 


The ideal candidate for this role comes with a proven track of both research and user experience, and able to transform complex user and business needs into simple and intuitive solutions. They also imagine you to have substantial experience with e-commerce and digital solutions (digital platform, communities or the like),  that serve both sales and service purposes.  


In close collaboration with team members and stakeholders, you will deliver top-shelf experiences for the global partners and customers.   


What do I need to apply? 

  • Bachelor or Master degree in User Experience design or similar  
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in online User Experience and Information Architecture 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the process of developing digital solutions from ideation and concept through implementation   
  • Minimum 3 years of experience of research methods and usability testing – and collecting and analyzing user insights 
  • Substantial knowledge about responsive and mobile-friendly UX and IA 
  • Experienced user of wire framing and prototyping tools (preferably Sketch/Invision or Axure)  
  • Experience in designing for Content Management Systems
  • A creative problem solver with a "can-do" attitude    
  • Flexible and positive when engaging in fast-moving environments  
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Passionate as a person as it is very important to us that you are as enthusiastic as we are 
  • Excellent English skills, spoken and written 

The position is located in the office in Brøndby and you will refer to the Manager of User Experience & Projects.
